The CCCA is the 'umbrella' organisation for all village groups. It has elected members but its meetings are open to representatives from all the village groups. All groups are invited to send a representative to each committee meeting every two months as your ideas and consensus are needed when running large events.

Helps with lifts to hospital, dental and doctor appointments, visiting friends and family in hospital, shopping, sitting with housebound, and other 'good neighbour' activities. Prescriptions collected from the surgery and delivered to the housebound.
Please consider volunteering - the more helpers, the less commitment needed. Unless we have volunteers we cannot respond to every call for help.

Colden Common is twinned with St. Vigor-Le-Grand, a small community near Bayeaux.
Our aim is to promote and foster friendship and understanding between the
two communities. We hope to extend cultural, recreational, educational and
commercial activities also. We organise fund raising activities to pursue
these aims. We are a very sociable and friendly group. Why not give twinning
a try? An ability to speak French is not a necessity - just a liking for food,
wine and good company.
Meetings and events are held each month. Committee meetings are held every
2nd Tuesday in the month - Social events each month + AGM
Charges: £10 family, £5 individual (Subject to review at AGM in
November)
